There are generally legends of people who somehow conjured the purist of poetries. Bhagavad Gita comes to mind. The Holy Qur’an comes to mind. Iliad, Odyssey – a blind old man roaming dark ages and spittin’ rhymes.
Ancestral Memories
Tales of different events throughout evolutionary history. In what Noah carried in his ARK, key milestones, moments, and memories are coiled within us all. Crucial moments in our ancestral history are scattered throughout our seed. As one begins their journey, a deep dive inward is congruent to the fall of ego, you go through a phase of exploration. Memories replayed to you spiritually through different trips and hallucinations.
We come out; come back with attempts to describe the indescribable – a task impossible to most, save the prophets. They’ve come back from a place deep within – explored waters and crossed thresholds unimaginable. The most praiseworthy came back with beautiful, majestic, poetic, harmonious, chantic, transic recitations.
Inner Exploration
These stories, in their cruelty and brutal honesty, created us; shaped who we are. Legends of what happened – different milestones necessary to understand who we are, how we evolved, and how we got here. Understand the sacrifices and adaptations, the moments of betrayal and approval, structure and rebellion. It takes harsh words to explain how a cruel world could be so perfect. Optimized via divine evolutionary design.
These stories are as deep as they are poetic. We shouldn’t strawman them; they’ve been strawmanned enough. We believe in prophets who’ve explored the deepest of self, only to come back describing the indescribable.
Our attempts at inner exploration is unlikely to reach the depths of Buddha or Jesus, but it’s still worth the discipline and effort. Each trip is unique to each soul. They differ in nuance, all indescribable. Expect disappointment with attempts to describe a feeling bastardized by mere words and thoughts. There are no words. Words collapse you away from the Self, from soul.
Spiritual Trips
The analytical mind is a beautiful tool. – ego has its necessities. With ego comes independence. Ego takes you on incredible trains, but you must quiet down to stay in tune with yourSelf and your emotions. You lose a little feeling with every word, every attempt at elaborating. Another reason to keep it to yourself. The best thing you can do is stick to silence as a portal to your experience.
The underlying patterns are always the same. All different legends through different prophets of descriptions of various spiritual trips of a memory stored within, ingrained within you.
And as Imam Ali says, the whole universe is wrapped and coiled within you.
Knowledge ingrained in your DNA, the ARK saved by Noah, through Noah. There are enough people who’ve gotten there and proven it through their poetic harmonic creations. From Homer to Moses and his scripture, to Buddha, Jesus, and Muhammad pbuh. Descriptions of trips through milestones of memories, all stored within.
